the BASEMENT Publication #08 Lavender is my favorite flower. Its scent is calming, its color is light and easy; it is serene. But serenity is subjective and temporary, and sometimes things that used to be serene start growing like monsters, and it overwhelms me. Sometimes there is so much, and it seems like there is more and more with every second, until there is so much that I can’t even remember what I was when there wasn’t. So I’ll lie down, try to forget, and will myself to sleep.
