"A Red Bull" is an expression of distaste towards the constant stream of product marketing within the western world. Our values have been flipped from quality to quantity, balance to addiction, and health to profit. The companies that hurt us are the ones that we idolize. It is a world that we cannot escape and at the same time do not want to escape. our capitalist structures frame greed over kindness and by extension, our subconscious does the same. This piece is a way to put these ideas of addiction economy into a physical space, making people grapple with their role in it, and hopefully sow individual reflection and change.
Our political structure for one is the reason for such vast wealth and abundance, but on the other hand, also brings about an equal amount of suffering and loss. Only through conversation and forced thought can we start to change this structure for the better. @quinndiamond
